In 2021, a new initiative was introduced by the Ohio General Assembly, enabling Ohio residents to receive a full 100% tax credit on their Ohio income tax liability for monetary donations to certified organizations providing scholarships to students, including those enrolled in Catholic schools. The Angel Scholarship Fund, established as the Scholarship Granting Organization of the Catholic Community Foundation, was created to receive contributions and award scholarships to students attending Catholic schools across the Diocese of Cleveland.
