Building the Future of St. Helen School

An exciting new chapter is underway at St. Helen Catholic School!
After years of growth, planning, prayer, and the incredible support of our parish and school community, construction is underway on our new school building and campus renovations.
This project represents much more than new classrooms. It is an investment in the future of Catholic education at St. Helen and in the generations of students who will learn, grow, discover, and deepen their faith within these walls.
The completed project will provide modern learning spaces, expanded opportunities for our students, and a unified school environment designed to serve St. Helen families for many years to come.

What We're Building

Our new building will include:
  • Six new classrooms serving students in Grades 3–8
  • A dedicated Maker Space for hands-on STEM, design, creativity, and innovation
  • A new Art Room
  • A new Cafeteria
  • An open-space Library designed to serve as a welcoming hub for reading, learning, and collaboration
  • A new Front Office and Administrative Area
  • A new Kitchen
These spaces are being intentionally designed to support the way students learn today while giving St. Helen room to continue growing into the future.

Construction Timelines

Construction began in the spring of 2026 and will continue throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

During the early stages of the project, significant site preparation and infrastructure work took place, including the removal of our former modular classrooms and renovations to portions of our existing school.

The entire project is currently scheduled for completion in August 2027, with the goal of beginning the 2027–2028 school year in our newly completed and renovated school.

As with any major construction project, timelines may shift due to weather, materials, inspections, and other construction variables.

What We're Renovating

Our current school building will also receive significant improvements as part of the project, including:
  • Completely renovated PreK–2 classrooms
  • New Locker Rooms
  • A dedicated Band Room
  • Updated learning spaces and infrastructure throughout the existing building
Together, the new construction and renovations will create a more cohesive campus where students from Preschool through 8th Grade can learn, collaborate, create, pray, and grow.

Building the Future.

Every part of this project has been planned with our students and the future of St. Helen School in mind.

From traditional classrooms to spaces dedicated to art, music, STEM, reading, collaboration, and community, our new and renovated school will give students even more opportunities to discover their gifts, discover their potential, and discover God at work in their lives.

Throughout construction, our priority remains providing students with a safe, welcoming, faith-filled, and exceptional Catholic school experience.
